The body of a five-year-old boy who had been missing for several days was discovered inside a sack on the rooftop of a residential building in Isinya, Kajiado County.
Authorities confirmed that the child was reported missing on March 27. His remains were found on April 1 after residents raised concerns about a foul smell coming from the area.
Upon investigation, locals found a white sack on the rooftop of a house in the Korrompoi area. When police arrived and opened it, they discovered the boy’s decomposing body.
The child was later identified by his mother and grandmother. However, the motive behind the killing remains unclear, and no arrests have been made so far.
The body was transferred to the mortuary for an autopsy as investigations continue. Disturbed by the incident, residents staged a brief protest, demanding justice for the slain boy.
