A police officer stationed at Embakasi Police Station was found dead at his home after failing to report for duty for two days.
According to a police report, officers from Embakasi station were dispatched to find Police Constable Geoffrey Kinzi’s whereabouts following his noticeable absence.
The team headed to his house, near the Trace Hotel in Embakasi Village, which was locked from the inside.
Alarmed by the situation, the team gained entry into the house by cutting the window grill and found officer Kinzi’s body lying in a supine position.
A closer inspection of the officer’s body revealed that he did not have any visible injuries.
The officers processed and documented the scene and transferred the body to Montezzuma Monalissa Funeral Home pending a post-mortem examination.
