Mkomani UDA Candidate Kicked Out Of Polling Station Over Bribery

Chepkorir claimed to be a UDA agent

Gladys Chepkorir, a former candidate for the UDA party in the Mkomani ward, was expelled from the Maweni polling station in the Mombasa county because of claims that she had bribed voters.

Security officers and officials from the IEBC took the well-known politician from the UDA party and removed him from the voting booth.

In the election that was just finalized, the ODM party candidate Yahya Ahmed Sheet defeated Madam Gladys Chepkorir for the ward seat.

Chepkorir claimed to be a UDA agent. However, ODM supporters claimed she had stayed too long at the center.

This comes even as police officers kicked out all the idlers from the polling centre.
