Moi University Announces Shortage of Condoms, Asks Students to “Abstain”

The administration of Moi University has advised its students to employ other methods of avoiding contracting STI’s including HIV due to a condom shortage facing the institution.

In a recent memo addressed to the intended audience, the College of Health Sciences appreciated the risks posed to them due to the crisis.

“This is to inform you that there is currently no supply of condoms to the health facilities around you. You are therefore advised to exercise caution,” says a letter P.L Selenkey, the chief health officer at the university.

The institution has therefore advised its students to abstain from sex, be faithful or purchase condoms from nearby shops.

“Always keep yourself busy with other worthwhile activities. Prevention is better than cure,” the memo added.
