A tragic incident unfolded in Mombasa County’s Kisauni Sub County, where a 66-year-old Canadian man was found dead in his bedroom under startling circumstances.
Gregory John’s lifeless body was discovered by his wife, Mrs. Oduor, around 2:00 AM on a reportedly ordinary night.
According to the police report, Oduor, a 33-year-old resident of Shanzu, revealed that her husband had been watching pornographic videos on his laptop when the incident occurred.
It is suspected he succumbed to a heart-related issue while engaging in a sexual act; he was found lying on his bed, holding his penis with one hand, and the explicit content was still playing on his laptop.
Oduor disclosed to authorities that the couple had been living apart in recent times, with their relationship deteriorating due to trust issues, which had led to a cessation of their conjugal rights for over a year.
Scenes at the residence were processed by the Mombasa Police, where evidence was collected for forensic analysis. Kilgour’s body has been transferred to Jocham Hospital morgue, pending an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
The case is currently under investigation by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Kisauni, as friends and family grapple with the shocking circumstances surrounding Kilgour’s death. Local and international communities are left in disbelief over this tragic event.
