The Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) has appointed Dr. Ezekiel Mutua as its Chief Executive Officer following rigorous competitive interviews.
In a statement, MCSK Board Chair Lazarus Muli said that Mutua was appointed after emerging as the best candidate.
“Dr. Mutua’s appointment follows rigorous competitive interviews in which he emerged top among the candidates who were interviewed for the position,” said Muli.
According to MCSK, the former Kenya Film and Classification CEO is a consummate media professional with a strong passion for leadership, communication and opinion driving both the public and private sectors.
In December 2010, Dr. Mutua was awarded the Moran of the Boarder of the Burning Spear (MBS) by President Mwai Kibaki for his outstanding role in streamlining government communications during his tenure as Director of Information and Public Communications.
The board welcomed him warmly and expressed confidence in his passion for excellence, which will help guide MCSK to the next level.
