More police officers have been sent to Kilifi to interrogate some 81 people who were arrested in Golden Key area.
The 76 men and five women were said to be taking an oath in a compound when police were informed and stormed there.
The officers said they found paraphernalia and crude weapons from the compound that was being used in oath taking.
The suspects who are being investigated for taking part in an organized criminal gang told police they planned to take over the country.
