Police officers are investigating an incident where a mother burned herself and her two children after an argument with her husband over infidelity.
Hellen Vuyanzi, 35, who resides in Sirende village, Lugari constituency allegedly got into an argument with her husband.
According to Lugari sub-county commander Bernard Ngungu, Vuyanzi accused her spouse of cheating after she discovered he was dating another lady.
Njogu suspected the wife could have purchased gasoline and hidden it in the house before starting a fight with her husband.
According to a neighbour who did not want to be identified, the couple has been feuding nonstop since the woman began suspecting her husband.
Vuyanzi and his wife had been married for 12 years and had three children, ages 11, 4, and 2.
Stephens Okila, the deceased’s brother-in-law, stated that he was away from home when his brother called and informed him that his house had caught fire.
By the time the fire was put out, Vuyanzi and the two children were already dead.
The third child is said to have escaped the inferno.
