Jose Mourinho took a dig at Lazio and their director Igli Tare following the Biancocelesti’s drop to the Conference League.
Lazio, who meet Roma in a crunch Derby on Sunday were dumped to the 3rd tier Europe Conference by Fereyonoord on Thursday.
Roma is coached by another former Chelsea Manager Mauricio Sarri.
In his post-match press conference after the 3-1 Roma-Ludogorets win,the Mourinho claimed Lazio are the hotfavorites to win the Conference League. Roma won it last season.
“I think Lazio have now become the favorites to win the Conference League. I say this with honesty.”
“There’s West Ham, Leicester, Fiorentina, Lazio and who else? Villarreal?”
