The National Assembly will hold a special session to debate an Exceptional Motion on Honour and Tributes of the House to the late Third President Mwai Kibaki.
The House, which is now on recess until May 10th, is set to convene following President Uhuru Kenyatta’s proclamation on April 22nd announcing Kibaki’s death.
According to NA Speaker Justin Muturi, the meeting will begin at 2.30 p.m. in the National Assembly Chamber, main Parliament Buildings, Nairobi.
The agenda for the day involves notifying the assembled House of the presidential declaration announcing Kibaki’s death.
