The MSEA Kisii office conducted an election exercise for artisans operating at Kenya Industrial Estate, bringing together various artisans within the facility to elect new leaders who will represent their interests and coordinate activities within the industrial estate.
The elections were carried out in a transparent and participatory manner, allowing all registered artisans present to take part in the voting process.

The exercise was supervised by the MSEA Kisii Office to ensure fairness and credibility throughout. During the meeting, artisans were sensitized on the importance of unity, effective leadership, and collective responsibility in promoting the growth of their enterprises.
They were encouraged to strengthen their association, improve productivity, and take advantage of opportunities available to Micro and Small Enterprises through government programs and support institutions.

Kenya Industrial estates supported by the government play an important role in promoting small and medium industries by providing infrastructure, incubation services, and linkages to financial and business development support.
