Mudavadi Claps Back At President Kenyatta

Musalia Mudavadi, the leader of the African National Congress (ANC), has retaliated against President Uhuru Kenyatta.

This was after reports that the President had remarked that the ANC leader had disappointed him.

“Mr President, you have a right to be disappointed with me. But, I want to tell you: Kenyans are even more disappointed in you. They are hungry, they are tired. Let’s not lie to each other.” he said.

Mudavadi went on to reject Kenyatta’s succession plan, claiming that Raila Odinga, Kenyatta’s favored presidential candidate, was a “stalled project”.

“We want to change Kenya, democracy to be enshrined and have the freedom of choosing friends and not be forced to support projects. We will not accept government projects in politics. There are so many stalled government projects, Azimio is another stalled project.” Mudavadi added.

After declaring a cooperation with Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and FORD Kenya’s Moses Wetangula on Sunday, the ANC leader sent shockwaves across the political landscape.

Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja alliance, which President Kenyatta supports, is not a possibility, according to Mudavadi.

“The ANC’s position, which I have the honor to proclaim, is that the specter known as Azimio is not an option when it comes to partnerships,” he said.
