Mudavadi Holds Talks With Angola President

Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary, met with Angola President Joo Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço on Saturday.

The discussions took place on the eve of a high-level summit on the DRC peace initiative in Luanda, Angola.

Mudavadi was attended at the summit by PS State Department for Parliamentary Affairs Aurelia Rono, Charge D’Affaires Kenyan Embassy in Angola Andrew Mujivane, and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office CS Samuel Karanja.

CS for Foreign Affairs Alfred Mutua will also be present at the high-level summit.

“Our discussions focused on issues of mutual interest to the two countries, such as increasing trade in the agricultural sector, oil, mining, tourism, and the Blue Economy,” Mudavadi wrote on Twitter.
