Mudavadi — Kenya Will Never Go Back To 2007 Chaos

Musalia Mudavadi has concluded his two-day trip to Nyandarua County by urging Kenyans to embrace peace as the country prepares for the 2022 General Election.

The Amani National Congress leader stated that the country should not be subjected to the events of the 2007 elections, in which many Kenyans were killed, injured, and forced to flee their homes.

“The events of 2007 post-election violence are very fresh in our minds. We know what leads to what happened and that is why I am asking Kenyans to embrace peace at all costs. We should not allow anyone to intimidate us to vote their way. Kenya belongs to us all,” he said.

Mudavadi was speaking to the faithful at St Cecilia Catholic Church in Milangine, Apostolic Faith Church in Njabi-in, and the general public in several stopovers.

Mudavadi, who is campaigning in Kenya’s vote-rich central region, says he wants an economy that works for everyone.

“Corruption has been the hallmark of this administration and made life very expensive. Now someone is telling you that he will fix an economy that he has rundown for the last eight years,” he said.

Mudavadi reached out to the Nyandarua people to rally support for his campaign message of creating an economy that works for everyone.
