Musalia Mudavadi, Amani National Congress Party leader and FORD-Kenya Party leader Moses Wetangula have finally attended the much awaited Bhukungu stadium BBI rally despite earlier indicating that they will miss the event.
During the rally COTU Secretary General Francis confirmed to have talked to Mudavadi and told him that he must attend the meeting. Atwoli said the two leaders are his products.
“These are all my products. I talked to Mudavadi for one hour and I told him he must attend the meeting…we cannot hold a meeting without you…you are a recognized leader,” said Atwoli amid cheers from the crowd.
Atwoli further alluded that in 2022 the Luhya community must be in the government with a preference in Wycliffe Oparanya, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula.

Both Musalia and Wetangula had announced that they were not consulted and that they would miss the meeting led by ODM Leader Raila Odinga.
Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, who has now been left in the heated engagement with the police dispersing Mumias rally supporters, had affirmed that Mudavadi and Wetangula would attend the Mumias meeting.
Khalwale also indicated that he had mobilized local leaders from Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Vihiga and Kakamega Counties but none showed up.
By 11am Khalwale and other Tangatanga allied politicians were nowhere to be seen at Nabongo Grounds as police were heavily deployed at the venue.
The BBI rally at Bukhungu is expected to make major boost on the Luhya Community politics.
