With less than two years remaining before the 2022 general elections, politicians from different regions have been running up and down to try and find amicable solutions to their deteriorating political careers.
Politicians from the ruling Jubilee party have not been left behind either with several leaders eying the President’s support ahead of the 2022 general elections.
The ruling party has been weakened badly in recent days following terrible by-election losses by parties perceived to be aligned to the Deputy President. These losses have reportedly caused a bad feeling between the President and those who had been given the responsibility to run the show. David Murathe and Raphael Tuju have been called out for failing to deliver any wins to the president.
Many have been calling them out with a section calling for their resignation.
Murathe say, the Jubilee MPs should stop looking for people to shift the blame game and instead focus to account for what they were given to use in Kiambaa which according to Murathe was a sizeable amount.
According to Murathe, the likes of Kiambu Governor, Kimani Wambugu, Sabina Chege, and Jeremiah Kioni should be blamed for the losses and not the secretariat since they were sidelined from the beginning
