Ruto’s popularity has soared in recent months, particularly in the Mt Kenya region, where he has established himself as the hustler’s voice ahead of the 2022 national elections.
Following a severe dispute with his boss, President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Deputy President chose to forge his own political path.
Their relationship has reportedly deteriorated in recent months, with the two leaders reportedly no longer seeing eye to eye.
Ruto has managed to develop a strong political ground ahead of his adversaries even without Uhuru’s assistance.

However, Ruto says those in leadership have nothing to show despite being bestowed powers by their electorate.
“Small enterprises are formidable contributors of jobs and wealth. In ensuring that we place them in a position to flourish, hence boost our growth, we have broadened and escalated our bottom-up, middle-out focus on the economy to polish their business expertise and competence.” Ruto added.
