Award-winning Kenyan musician Nadia Mukami and her partner, fellow artist Arrow Bwoy, have announced the birth of their second child, a baby boy named Ameer Kiyan.
The couple shared the news on Monday, August 11, with a tender photograph from the hospital showing Nadia cradling her newborn while Arrow Bwoy stood beside her.
In an Instagram post, Mukami revealed that Ameer was born on August 9. “We welcomed our second son, Ameer Kiyan, to the world. Our perfect prince and a gift from God,” she wrote.
The arrival comes just months after the AFRIMMA-winning songwriter confirmed her pregnancy during a live performance.
That night, she proudly displayed her baby bump while urging fans to dance along, a moment that was widely celebrated by her supporters.
Mukami, who gave birth to her first son Kai two years ago, has often credited motherhood with opening new opportunities, including lucrative brand endorsements.
She has described Kai as a child who “came with a big plate,” symbolising the blessings he brought into her life.
Her second pregnancy also marked a period of renewal in her relationship with Arrow Bwoy. The two artists have spoken candidly about challenges in their partnership, including a difficult patch before Kai’s birth. They later reconciled, and the arrival of Ameer now signals another milestone in their shared journey as parents.
