A middle aged man surprised court when he stood at the dock to take plea over allegations of trading in Narcotics within Nairobi City only for him to admit all the particulars and facts of the offense.
Harry Wathome Fathew was arrested on APRIL 6,2022 within Nairobi and was arraigned in Court today where he was charged with being in possession of Narcotic drugs contrary to the Law.
According to the prosecution report, Mr. Fathew was arrested on April 6, 2022 around Koja roundabout in Nairobi with 19 cookies laced with bhang.
The street value of the bhang is estimated at Ksh 1,600.
He pleaded guilty before magistrate Susan Shitubi of Milimani Law courts.
However, the prosecution requested the sentencing to be differed to tomorrow April 8, 2022 to avail all the documentary evidence as required by law before the sentencing.
