Bensoul who is part of the Sol generation spoke about his new hit song Nairobi and said that the inspiration behind the song is personal.
The song which features the Sol generation family sauti sol, Nviri and also Mejja got people jamming to the music and almost everyone relating to it. It is a song that talks about promiscuity.
“there is a friend of mine who sent me messages on how he was being played by a lover in broad day light .I wrote this song as an affirmation that he should not forget we are in Nairobi and that is where the idea came from .”.
When he was asked whether he thinks Nairobi is one big bedroom he said “yes I do it’s all about per person sharing, hata mimi nimechezwa mara mingi but such is life.”
