Arya Starr, one of Africa’s hottest growing artists, is set to play in the city next month.
After releasing her self-titled EP and the track “Away” last year, the 19-year-old Beninese-Nigerian singer and songwriter catapulted to fame.
She went on to release her socially conscious album ’19 & Dangerous,’ which has amassed millions of global streams since its release.
Arya will play at the Impala Grounds on February 12th at the Thrift Social event.
Pianochella was the most recent Thrift Social event, which took place four weeks ago in December.
The performance was headlined by South African rapper Cassper Nyovest and DJs TXC.
