A Nakuru-bound bus crashed near Karai on the Naivasha-Nairobi highway, killing one and seriously injuring 42 others.
The injured were rushed to the Naivasha Sub-county Hospital for treatment, according to Naivasha sub-county police commander Samuel Waweru.
“Initial reports indicate that the driver of the ill-fated bus lost control of the vehicle at the notorious black spot,” he said.
Mr Waweru stated that the deceased died while waiting to be seen at the Naivasha Sub-county Hospital.
Kenya Red Cross and police officers assisted in transporting the injured to the hospital.
The location of the accident is a notorious black spot.
