Naomi Campbell isn’t will to let her beef with fellow model Tyra banks go away anytime soon this happen when she took to her Instagram story to repost a link to an article written about by a US website claiming Tyra is “ the real mean girl “
The article read “here’s why fans are starting to think Tyra Banks is the real mean girl, not Naomi Campbell.
The two haven’t been in talking terms after Tyra claimed then established model Naomi made her feel unwelcome when she joined the fashion industry .Speaking about their history, Tyra last year said “it wasn’t a rivalry .I am very sensitive to that word because a rivalry is between two equals to me whereas one was very dominant, she was a supermodel and I was just a girl that has gotten on a plane from Paris and was studying fashion and magazines.
“as much as I was booking fashion shows ,people didn’t know I was going home crying myself out to sleep because the woman I was looking up to seemed like she just didn’t want me to be there and was doing everything in her power to make me go away. “
They first had a conversation about their beef in 2005 in Tyra’s show in order to clear the air .Tyra went on to bring up the time when Naomi called her the B-word backstage at a fashion show they were both walking in . She said at the time. “You called me the B-word and said “we have a shoot to do in Anguilla and it’s not going to be pleasant if you are talking about me like that
And Naomi also told Tyra that: “you’ll never be met .don‘t think you can be me.”
Firing back Naomi told her this. “I’m not someone to go and give myself away and say that to anybody I’ve never said that in my life if that’s what you remember I accept that person, but that doesn’t sound like me to people who know me.
So clearly the beef is far from over.
