PSG Finalize Talks To Sign Ruiz

The 26-year-old Spanish midfielder has repeatedly refused to sign a new contract

Negotiations between Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain to buy Fabian Ruiz are set to be finalized.

The Partenopei, who are in a difficult situation because the 26-year-old Spanish midfielder has repeatedly refused to sign a new contract, face an expiration of his current deal with the club next year.

Recent reports claimed that Real Madrid was planning to sign him for nothing next summer, but PSG beat them to the punch.

According to Corriere dello Sport, PSG is prepared to offer Napoli around €25 million for Fabian Ruiz, including add-ons, and they’re eager to finalize a deal as soon as possible.

The Spaniard did not play in yesterday’s pre-season friendly against Espanyol, and it appears that a transfer to Paris is imminent as the two parties are currently working hard to finalize the terms of the deal.

In 32 Serie A appearances last season, Ruiz scored seven goals and contributed four assists.
