A top National Intelligence Service (NIS) officer committed suicide on Tuesday at his home in Nairobi’s Kilimani area.
The high-ranking official at the civilian intelligence agency prompted suspicion after failing to arrive at work on Tuesday morning as normal.
His phone went unanswered, and police say his coworkers traced him down to his home, where he is claimed to have shot himself.
