Mr David Wafula Wakoli has been sworn in as Bungoma Senator. Mr Wakoli succeeds Mr Moses Wetang’ula who resigned after winning the 2022 general elections to vie for the position of National Assembly Speaker.
Mr Wakoli, who won the Bungoma by-election on a Ford Kenya party ticket on December 8 with 66,032 votes, was sworn in on December 30 by Senate Speaker Amason Kingi.
