Road works on a dual link road stretching from Upper Hill business district to Mbagathi road is now open for Traffic and Pedestrian use.
The project, applauded for being the latest development to offer pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure is set to ease pressure on Ngong Road, Mbagathi roundabout, and instead offer a shorter route to access Langata road from Upper hill.
Complete with street lighting and markings, the Kenya Urban Roads Authority says the road has been put up to accommodate all Kenyans, by providing pedestrian walk ways as well as an up to standard motorway.
However KURA is yet to complete these walkways and while responding to a twitter question, assured area residents that the pedestrian path will be completed by the third week of May 2020.
