Kenyan comedian Timothy Kimani, popularly known as Njugush, has confirmed that he and his long-term partner Celestine Ndinda are no longer together.
In a statement shared online through their Njugush Creatives platform, the comedian revealed that the couple made the decision to part ways last year after what he described as “much thought and with mutual respect.”
“Last year, we made the decision to part ways after much thought and with mutual respect,” the statement read.
Despite the separation, Njugush noted that the two have continued to co-parent and remain focused on raising their children together.

“We have been co-parenting and our children remain our top priority. We continue to support one another,” the statement added, while also asking for privacy as they navigate the transition.
The announcement has drawn widespread attention online, given the couple’s long-standing public image as one of Kenya’s most admired entertainment partnerships.
Neither Njugush nor Ndinda provided further details on the circumstances surrounding the separation.
