NMS To Conduct Final Test Run At Green Park On Wednesday

The Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) will conduct its final test run at the Green Park terminus on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

Following that, vehicles from Rongai, Kiserian, Ngong, Karen, Langata, Nairobi West/Madaraka, Kibra, Kawangware, Dagoretti/Satellite, Highrise/Ngumo, and Kikuyu will be able to use the terminus.

According to a statement issued by NMS Director General Major General Mohammed Badi, all vehicles operating at the Railways bus terminus from Langata and Ngong roads will relocate to Green Park.

He also stated that the Railways bus terminal will be closed as of tomorrow, Wednesday, June 22nd.

Vehicles using the Railways bus terminus from Mombasa road will connect with Lusaka road at the Nyayo stadium roundabout, Jogoo road roundabout, Landhis road, and Hakati terminus.

All Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) using Ngong Road, Langata, and Argwings Kodhek will pick up and drop off passengers at Green Park on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022. They will also be permitted to pick up passengers from locations other than Railways.

The test will continue until Sunday, June 26th, 2022, pending further communication. Meanwhile, all PSVs from the East lands with valid licenses and a capacity of 42 or more will operate to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) via Haile Selassie Avenue.

Kenyatta Avenue and City Hall Way will be closed to PSVs.
