According to reports published on Friday, April 21, investigations into Jeff Mwathi’s case were found to be inconclusive.
No evidence was found that directly linked Lawrence Njuguna alias DJ Fatxo or the two men in the house on the fateful night to the mysterious death that occurred on February 22 in Kasarani, according to police.
Given the small opening, the detectives concluded that someone could not have been thrown out the bedroom window.
In any case, if the 23-year-old fell from the window, he could have maneuvered across the tiny opening before landing on the ground floor.
According to the report, the 23-year-old was drunk and began throwing up in the house, prompting the host and his friends to direct him to a room to rest.
Fatxo’s friends – the two men seen on CCTV on the ground floor – were said to have gone to see if the DJ had passed out in his car, which happened from time to time.
This was after the DJ had taken long to return to the house, having escorted two ladies they were with back home.
DCI indicated that the duo was still in the lift when CCTV captured the interior designer falling from the 10th floor.
