A known criminal was arrested by police in Molo on Monday evening, following the recovery of suspected stolen property.
Officers from Molo Police Station, conducting a routine patrol around 5:00 PM in the Keep Left area of Molo Sub-County, noticed two unregistered motorcycles, each carrying a green sack containing unidentified items. Police gave chase, successfully intercepting one suspect, while the second fled towards Mutirithia, abandoning his motorcycle.

The arrested suspect has a history of prior convictions and acquittals at the Molo Law Courts. Upon inspection, the recovered sacks were found to contain nine assorted 6kg gas cylinders. Further investigations revealed that both motorcycles had their frame numbers tampered with and erased.
The suspect is currently in custody at Molo Police Station, where he is detained pending arraignment scheduled for today. Police have urged the public to report any additional information regarding the incident or the fleeing suspect.
