National Transport and Safety Authority(NTSA) has cleared Modern Coast to resume operations from 1pm today after a five day suspension following multiple accidents.
Last week two buses registered under the Modern Coast bus company collided along Nairobi Mombasa highway at Sultan Hamud.
The early morning accident left seven people dead while 60 others have been nursing injuries.
Earlier reports also alleged that the bus company had suffered a previous ordeal at the same date and surprisingly, the same place.
It due to this that NTSA suspended the bus company and has been undergoing serious investigations and inspection including subjecting the drivers to fresh drive tests.
During the suspension passengers who had already already booked to travel to Mombasa with the buses had to look for other alternatives as they awaited their money to be refunded by the company.
