The annual Tusker Oktobafest has now confirmed its lineup of artists for what promises to be a month-long cultural celebration spanning multiple East African countries.
Organized by East African Breweries, the festival has unveiled a roster of musicians set to grace the stages in South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya.
The festivities will commence in Juba, South Sudan, on October 21, with a lineup featuring Tanzanian sensation Harmonize, alongside South Sudan’s John Frog and Kenya’s very own Ndovu Kuu, who also serves as the brand ambassador for Tusker.
Simultaneously, in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, the festival continues with a star-studded cast, including Uganda’s legendary artist Jose Chameleone, Tanzania’s Ali Kiba, and Kenyan rapper/singer Nyashinski.
On the following day, October 22, the festival will move to Kampala, Uganda, featuring performances by Harmonize, Nyashinski, and the talented Azawi from the neighboring country.
The grand finale is scheduled for October 27-29 at Nairobi’s Ngong Racecourse, where the stage will be graced by top-tier artists such as arguably Tanzania’s biggest sensation, Diamond Platnumz, Kenya’s Nyashinski, and South Sudan’s John Frog.
Ann-Joy Michira, the Marketing and Innovation Director at East Africa Breweries PLC, said, “OktobaFest is a celebration of our distinct East African identity, and this year’s artist lineup truly showcases the diversity of musical talent in this region.”
“We are excited to bring together these incredible talents from South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya, and we anticipate that audiences will be treated to unforgettable experiences throughout the region.”
