NYS Announces 410 Opportunities for Graduates in Saudi Arabia

The National Youth Service (NYS) has announced 410 employment opportunities for its graduates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, opening doors in logistics, warehouse operations, and fisheries.

In a statement on Sunday, December 14, 2025, the opportunities include 150 forklift operator positions with monthly salaries ranging from 1,450 to 1,800 Saudi Riyals (SAR), equivalent to approximately Ksh49,800 to Ksh61,830.

In addition, 100 warehouse picker roles offer similar pay, while 160 fisheries sales associate jobs earn between 1,600 and 1,800 SAR, roughly Ksh54,960 to Ksh61,830.

“Our client, a reputable company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a strong footprint across industrial operations, retail operations and logistics services, is seeking to recruit qualified NYS graduates,” NYS wrote.

Candidates are expected to meet specific qualifications. Forklift operators must hold an artisan course in plant operations, a valid certification, and at least one year of practical experience.

Pickers should have warehouse or logistics experience, good English communication skills, and adherence to safety protocols.

Fisheries sales associates are required to have diplomas in food science or related courses, experience in seafood handling, and the ability to work in cold environments.

NYS also noted that candidates without passports will have their processing fast-tracked.

Successful applicants will receive two-year contracts, renewable upon mutual agreement, alongside round-trip air tickets, employment visas, residence permits, accommodation, transport, medical insurance, uniforms, and other benefits aligned with Saudi labour laws.

Working hours are eight hours a day, six days a week, with 30 days of annual leave.

Graduates meeting the requirements are encouraged to apply via the NYS online application form. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for practical tests and interviews at the NYS Nairobi Holding Unit on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

This initiative represents a significant opportunity for young Kenyans seeking international experience and higher earning potential.
