Nzioka Waita has been awarded the Order of the Golden Heart (MGH) for his work as Chief of Staff and Head of the President’s Delivery Unit.
The Order of the Golden Heart (MGH) is the third-highest national honour that may be bestowed on a person. Military commanders, Chairs of Independent Constitutional Commissions, and public workers with excellent achievements are common recipients of the medal.
Nzioka oversaw the delivery framework of the Government’s important flagship projects and effectively adopted performance-based project delivery across the public sector.
Nzioka is also lauded for his efforts to integrate the Big Four Agenda into the public sector.
He is currently a front runner in the race for Machakos governor, alongside his running mate Hon. Florence Mwangangi Suluhu.
