Former Uhuru Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita has taken over Wavinya Ndeti’s party.

Waita is the new Party leader of the Chama Cha Uzalendo(CCU) according to a new gazette notice.

He will contest the Machakos Governor’s seat on a the CCU Party ticket.

This is the Party that sponsored Wavinya to Parliament between 2008 to 2013.

Other new officials are top Nairobi Lawyer Nick Kamwendwa and Bernard Mwongela.

Wavinya abandoned the party to join Wiper Democratic Movement.
