Ochungulo family was one of the gengetone group that brought life to the new wave gengetone, but it seems like it’s the end of the road for the group and they termed the split as mutual.
The group is known for songs like Pandemic, kaa na mamayako and so many more .then later one they all started doing solo projects .
Through a post on Instagram they expressed their gratitude to their fans for their continued support but they found it fit if each of them pursed their careers differently. Not long ago before the group Ethic split up followed by sailors where one of them Lexxi Yung converted to doing gospel music.
“to all our fans we wanna say thank you for the support you have given us for the past few years you have been good to us, God has been good to us and the music has been good to us we have reached a point where we have different goals and targets .so the decision if us splitting up was a mutual agreement and we saw that was the best way forward again thank you so much for the support you guys have given us!! We shall meet again.”
They didn’t actually say what will happen to their songs on YouTube as well as their account which is now under the name Nelly the Goon. They also didn’t address the issue on as to why they deleted all their songs on YouTube .
