Octopizzo has weighed in on the Khaligraph Jones vs. Tanzanian rappers controversy, calling out the Kenyan rapper and claiming that his antics are nothing more than a “cry for help.”
In an unfiltered post on the X social platform, Octopizzo blasted Khaligraph for igniting a rap storm in order to boost his relevance.
“Kenyan rapper still desperate for validation and clout 10 yrs later. Picking fight with everyone to stay afloat & relevant. Sad indeed!” he tweeted.
Octo, a sworn Khaligraph enemy, went on wish that the latter would “heal” from what he was supposedly going through.
“Hope you heal from what you going through coz it’s showing in a different way…That’s not hiphop that’s cry for help!” he added.
A few days ago, in his usual cocky fashion, Papa Jones took to Instagram to invite Tanzanian rappers to a battle, asking them to step in the booth and show their worth – or face his lyrical wrath.
“Tanzanians, your rappers have 24 hours to respond,” Khaligraph declared.
“Failure to which I will launch an attack and I will take over the whole Tanzanian music industry and become the best rapper in Tanzania, just like I am the best rapper in Nigeria and Kenya!”
As emotions boiled and tempers flared, Khali doubled down on his remarks, daring his Tanzanian contemporaries to hit the studio and record diss tracks.
“TZ rap was dead except for Lunya and a few others record diss tracks before niattack na msijibu na amapiano,” Khaligraph Jones boldly stated.
