Ali Waziri, the chairman of the Webuye West ODM, has died.
The Orange Party announced Waziri’s death on Twitter on Monday.
“We grieve the demise of Hon. Ali Waziri, our Life Member and Chairman of the Webuye West Branch,” ODM declared.
Because of his passion and dedication to the advancement of ODM, the party described Waziri as a dependable leader in the Western area.
Ali Waziri was a founding member of the Orange Party and a life member.
Edwin Sifuna, the ODM Secretary-General, said the party has lost a guy who was a mentor to many people, including himself.
“My heartfelt condolences to Ali Waziri’s family and friends on his passing this morning… I wish him to rest in peace “Sifuna remarked.
Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya mourned the late, for his commitment to popularize the party in the western region.
“He was a grassroot mobilizer who advocated for the unity of Western people and the party at large.He was a founder and life member of our party who mentored many people in politics at the local and national level.His services and support will be dearly missed by the party.May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
