ODM Issues Fresh Demands To IEBC

Esther Passaris, the incumbent and aspirant for Nairobi County women’s representative, has sent a chilling warning to Chebukati and his colleagues.

According to Passaris, the squad is currently acting as if it is backing Raila’s opponent in the upcoming elections.

She has pledged to imprison the group if any of them is found guilty of electoral fraud.

“The way IEBC is acting is as if some of them already have allegiance to certain people. If they are culpable for any wrongdoing, they will spend their lives in Kamiti,” said Esther Passaris.

This intriguing development comes on the heels of additional Azimio wing demands made just days after the team visited Athens, Greece, where ballots are being printed.

Azimio claims that they want an explanation as to why the Chebukati-led team ordered the printing of two parallel form 34A booklets.

Azimio has called for a quick meeting between the IEBC and the four presidential contenders ahead of the two-week election.

This is not the first time Azimio has expressed concern about how the IEBC is conducting itself.

Only a few weeks ago, Raila Odinga pledged to postpone the general elections if the Manual Register was not reinstated.
