ODM Set To Hold Primaries

Between April 1 and April 21, 2022, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) will have its party primaries. 

The party’s National Elections Board (NEB) Chairperson Catherine Muma said in a statement that the exercise will be conducted using the system of universal suffrage of registered members. 

The elections will be held in various counties, beginning on April 1 in Nakuru and Turkana and ending on April 21 in Nairobi. 

The excercise will also take place in Narok and Kajiado on April 2nd, Kilifi and Tana River on April 4th, Taita Taveta and Kwale on April 5th, Mombasa on April 6th, and Kisii and Nyamira on April 7th. 

Vihiga and Busia (April 12th), Kisumu (April 13th), Siaya (April 14th), Bungoma and Trans Nzoia (April 15th), Migori (April 16th), Homa Bay (April 18th), and Kakamega (April 19th) will also participate (April 19th).

Meanwhile, the NEB of the ODM has stated that it is in the process of concluding the screening of applications for various elective positions, with the list of eligible candidates to be made public on the party’s website in due time.
