ODM, UDA Tops As The Most popular parties in Kenya -TIFA Survey Reveals

ODM is coming stronger and reviving itself after the death of former Party leader Raila Odinga. The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party still occupies more political space on the political arena.

This is according to the latest report released by TIFA on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, which shows that the faction leads at 20 per cent against the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) at 16 per cent.

According to the report, this gap is widened, however, by the greater support enjoyed by the Azimio coalition as compared with that of Kenya Kwanza.

The two top parties continue to enjoy more political relevance despite efforts by the United Opposition to wipe their influence.

Former President Uhuru’s Jubilee Party comes third with 11 per cent. The retired President Uhuru Kenyatta’s faction is keen to solidify its relevance ahead of the 2027 polls, especially after endorsing former Interior and Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i to run Presidency.

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s Democracy for Citizens (DCP) Party tied with Kalonzo’s Wiper Patriotic Front Party at 6 per cent.

Gachagua and Kalonzo have been on recent days working on weakening President Ruto’s UDA and Oburu’s ODM arrangement, popularly Broad-Based Government ahead of 2027 general elections.
