“The current youths use iPhone smartphones; they went to universities you want to take us back to the evolution stage even before Christ came,” he said.
The Youth league president said they did research in all Kenyan slums that came up with the blueprint for youth which they submitted to Raila and all youth said they need good life, drive good vehicles, own good houses, and money.
“I want to ask William Ruto which Kenyan youth do you talk to, do you talk to the young people or do you listen from the young people, he talks to young people that is his difference with Baba Raila Amolo Odinga, Raila listens to the youth,” he said.
Musungu on his part said they have set up proper strategies to ensure nominations will not create divisions that may see supporters exit.
Currently, he said ODM has a new elections board that recognizes all the past mistakes and has come to correct them to ensure there is harmony even after nominations.
“To the aspirants of ODM who are seated I want to encourage you and let you know that party primaries will be free and fair, the aspirant who is most popular is the one who will be elected and given the ticket of ODM,” he said.
Musungu said in a constituency where one aspirant has no competitor will be given a direct nomination and where there are more than one, they will first apply consensus which if fails shall go for nomination and the best candidate who wins will be given the ticket.

She said it is Raila alone who knows where the country is coming from where it is and where it is heading to.

“My fellow youth if there is a person out of those contesting for the presidency, who has the wisdom is Raila Amolo Odinga, he has brains and knowledge of Kenya from where it came from and where it’s supposed to go for prosperity,” he said.
