One Kenya Alliance (OKA) has decided to join the Azimio la Umoja Coalition.
OKA principals claimed in a joint statement delivered by Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka that they had decided to join the ODM and Jubilee parties in forming a grand coalition termed Azimio – One Kenya Alliance.
Kalonzo went on to say that OKA decided to increase their support in Azimio since ODM and Jubilee share its political views and plans for the country.
“The One Kenya Alliance wishes to inform Kenyans that it has officially initiated open and structured dialogue with like-minded political formations, namely the Jubilee Coalition and the ODM Party,” Kalonzo said.
The former vice president went on to say that official documentation would be signed on Monday, February 28, 2022, and that the agreement document would then be presented to the Registrar of Political Parties.
This comes just hours after Raila Odinga was named as the ODM and Jubilee parties’ favored presidential candidate.
On Saturday, the Azimio la Umoja alliance will be officially inaugurated at Kasarani Stadium.
