Sharon Otieno’s murder case will proceed from July 17, 2023, at Milimani High Court.
In the murder case, former Migori Governor Okoth Obado, Micheal Oyamo, and Caspal Obiero are charged with the gruesome murder of the late Sharon and her unborn child.
The murder case against the three will be heard by Justice Cecelia Githua, who has been relocated to Muranga High Court.
During the case mentioned on Wednesday, April 19, the judge asked the parties to work with the court in order to conclude the matter.
“It appears that I am unlucky… I’m back on it, I thought I will escape this matter after my transfer. But it’s okay; we will continue from where we left,” Justice Githua said when she appeared in an online session during today’s mention of the case.
The prosecution informed the court that 18 witnesses were yet to testify in the case, which has seen 24 witnesses take the stand so far.
