Olympics: Winnie, Faith Qualify For 1500m Semifinals

Winnie Chebet and Faith Bitok are among those who are giving hope to Many Kenyans after a hard time in almost all events in Tokyo Olympics.

Winnie Chebet emerged third while Edna Jebitok finished in the thirteenth place in the second heat.

This means that Winny Chebet and Faith Kipyegon sail through to the next level in the 1500m heats while Edna Jebitok falls in behind.

Elsewhere, Ferdinand Omurwa Omanyala broke the National Record in the 100M sprints.

He beat Yohan Blake of Jamaica by setting a new record of 10.00 seconds.

This means that he is now the fastest man in the country, and the eighth fastest man in the world.

However his campaign ended before he could scale the finals.
