One person died in a road accident after the driver of the saloon car they were traveling in lost control of the vehicle in the Jubat area along the Kericho-Nakuru highway.
Confirming the accident, Londiani Sub County police commander Agnes Kunga said two others sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at the Londiani Sub County hospital.
“The self-involved accident happened following a tyre burst. The vehicle veered off the road before rolling several times.”
The body of the deceased was taken to the facility’s mortuary, awaiting post-mortem.
“We appeal to motorists to be careful to avoid accidents in the area,” police noted.
