An overnight shooting in Washington, DC, has left one person dead, with nine others sustaining injuries, according to authorities.
D.C. police said shots were fired around 1 a.m. Sunday in a residential neighborhood located between Fort Circle Park and the northbound Anacostia Freeway.
In addition to the nine people transported from the scene, DC Fire and EMS said they also transported two people to the hospital from locations near the shooting scene but added it’s unknown whether they are related to the shooting.
