Over 2,765 Liters of suspected ETHANOL were last night seized by Detectives along the Eldoret-Nakuru Highway.
According to the authorities, a tip-off from the public led the DCI to track and ambush the batch. Two suspects were arrested alongside a vehicle, Registration No. KBZ 727Y with the products found loaded.
The two, 40-year-old Joram Kariuki & 24-year-old Njenga Wokabi were then charged today at the Chief Magistrate’s Court in Nakuru with Being in Possession of Uncustomed Goods C/Section 200 (a)(ii) of E.A.C customs Management Act of 2004.
