A suspected thug was last night shot dead in a botched robbery in Pangani area, Nairobi and a gun found on him.
Police and witnesses say the suspect was among a gang of four that had been attacking and robbing pedestrians when an alarm was raised.
Police have linked the deceased man to a gang operating in Mathare area popularly known as Katombi gang that has been linked to many robbery incidents in the area.
The body was moved to the mortuary. A pistol with three bullets was found on the body.
